Quick answers
How to measure yourself
TAKE YOUR BUST, WAIST and HIP MEASUREMENT
You can take your measurements by yourself with the following guide or you can ask someone for assistance. The most important thing is to measure your body based on how you’d like the dress to fit on you. If you’re in between sizes, it is always better to select the bigger size and any fitting issues can be fixed with alterations.
If your measuring tape allows, it is best to take your measurements in inches. If your measuring tape only has centimetres, it can be converted to inches after the fact.
You’ll need to take three measurements: BUST, WAIST and HIPS. This is done by wrapping the measurement tape around your body, with the measuring tape being pulled snug against you, similar to how you'd want the fit of the dress. If you prefer a loose fit, hold the tape accordingly.
Here’s where to hold the tape to get an accurate measurement of your bust, waist and hip.

We know ordering formal dresses online can be difficult, especially in regards to choosing the right size to achieve the fit you want.
We've developed the below step-by-step procedure to assist in making each of our customers' experience as seamless as possible.
Step One: Email us at sales@milivineboutique.com with the style number, colour and approximate size that you are after. Please also inform us of the date you plan on wearing the dress, that way we can ensure we have enough time to deliver.

Step Three: We will guide you in taking your measurements, confirming what size will provide the best fit for you taking into consideration the material of the dress.
Step Four: Following the confirmation of size, will check our stock and the stock of the designer (if a back order is required) to ensure the dress will be available within the delivery window you've provided.
Step Five: Once we've established all of the above, we will send you an invoice via email where you can submit your order and pay.

Caring for your dress
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR NEW DRESS
- Do not spray perfume onto your Dress
- If your dress features a Corset do not over tighten it as it could damage your dress
- Always have someone else zip and lace you into your Dress, do not over lace your dress as it could be damaged by doing this
- When choosing a Clutch Bag make sure it is smooth underneath and hold it away from your dress
- Glitter or Sequin dresses are designed to be super sparkly, some Glitter/Sequin loss can occur and this is not considered a fault
- Silky dresses consist of Satin or Lycra materials these are the most delicate materials and extra care must be taken
- Always keep Silky Gowns away from Sequin or other Materials that could snag on your dress
- If your dress is being stored for some time please keep it in a cool dark place
